Patrick N Brown

Patrick N Brown has established his place among San Diego’s notable visual artists. In 2018-19 his exhibits included The Athenaeum Juried Exhibit in La Jolla at The Athenaeum Music and Arts Library and the 27th William D Cannon Biennial Exhibit in Carlsbad. He was part of the inaugural exhibit Fresh Paint Gallery and exhibited in the opening show of the new Studio Door Gallery in Hillcrest. In July of 2019 he was asked to do a solo exhibit at The Farm of the Leichtag Foundation in Carlsbad. Patrick has an ongoing relationship in support of the LGBTQ community in San Diego County as well as VisualAIDS in New York. His painting Proud Parade was selected as Best of Show in The Studio Door’s national juried exhibit Proud and was then donated to North County’s LGBTQ Resource Center in Oceanside for their 2018 Annual Auction Gala. He is a member of The Escondido Arts Partnership Municipal Gallery, The Oceanside Museum of Art and Artist Alliance, VisualAIDS in NYC, The Los Angeles Art Association and the Frank Moore Archives project in NYC. Patrick has been invited as this year’s guest speaker on World AIDS Day at Pilgrim Church, December 1st 2019, speaking about art and the power of healing.
